Ugh, I wished I had checked before I came home with a damaged book. This is the second time it's happened. >

On the bright side, it's super-worn, which is a sign of a well-loved book. >>

I'm not sure what to do. At this point, the library might hold me responsible of the damage even though I didn't do it. I can quietly return the book and hope no one notices the loose/missing pages. But I also don't want another book with missing pages circulating the library. >

I guess I'll keep it with my other library books and decide when I go. It'll be a while since I have quite a queue of books to read! >
What do you think I should do? Have you ever checked out a book with missing pages? >

>~~~Update 8/28/2013: I just found out on Amazon that the book has a total of 218 pages. This means that only one sheet is missing. One sheet!!! Who would be so cruel as to deprive the next reader of the last two pages? I might consider reading it anyway since it seems like a good book, but ugh...whatever the characters say on the last two pages will be lost to me unless I find another copy. >
